Welcome to Home-Start West Northants
Home-Start in West Northamptonshire is a voluntary organisation committed to promoting the welfare of families with at least one child under five years of age and living in the Borough of West Northamptonshire.Home-Start West Northants provides inclusive, non-judgemental, volunteer-led support to empower parents and caregivers in the county to give their child the best start in life. We believe that children need a happy and secure childhood and that parents play a crucial role in helping them achieve their full potential.
Our volunteers and staff offer regular confidential support, emotional, and practical help to families either in their own homes, over the phone, or at one of our groups – helping to prevent family crises and breakdown.Home-Start West Northants support helps parents and carers to build confidence, strengthen their relationships with their children, and feel more connected and supported within their community. By empowering parents and reducing stress and isolation, Home‑Start helps create a more stable, nurturing environment where children can thrive.
We’re firmly rooted in our local communities, working closely with families to understand their diverse needs and to build trusted, inclusive relationships. By offering equitable, tailored support when families need it most, we provide early, preventative help that creates positive, lasting change for parents and their children
